Nightly Whispers

 
As night folds down
and stars are the only light
Loneliness dissipates around
as well as the calming beauty of night.
 
You are not visibly able to be found
yet I know you are here
your presence is known without a sound 
the beatings of my heart whisper you are near
 
as I lay myself down to sleep
I lon for your body's touch 
that feeling, so strong, through my pores seeps reminding me why I love you so much.
