Poseidon's Daughter

I stepped upon the land
Fiery tears falling at my hands
To fill the pool of empty thoughts
With seas of red that would not stop
The boats would sway and tip their crew
A watery death they soon knew
Tangling their arms in a bed of seaweed
The wind whaling now sealing the deed
The storm breaks and the seagulls play
Perching on ships who have not known decay
Then I lay my hands down to rest
On silken fabrics only the best
The sea lain upon the sand
Sinking deeply into the land
My tear ducts dry from futile tears
Sailors now worrying of their fears
Poseidon's daughter didn't have her way
So the waves raged and then faded away
