Life's Cycle

The golden trees shake with fever
The earth lets out a cry
The sky unfolds its wings
And mother nature releases a sigh
The cold winds moan with melancholy
The lakes are frozen still
The ground is snowy white
And spring has yet to near
The hummingbirds are singing now
The buttercups in bloom
The spring brings April showers
And the land is now brand new
The seasons change so frequently
The old brings out the new
And my life is in a cycle
Waiting to be renewed
